Installation & Maintenance
Due to the XL’s higher flow capacity and heavier weight, we strongly recommend hiring a licensed professional plumber for installation. The unit connects after your main water shutoff and pressure regulator, with a 3/4" drain for backwash. Once you’ve filled the tank and let the media soak, simply run the initial backwash cycle (approx. 20 minutes), and you’re ready for high-volume, high-performance filtration.
The AquaOx XL automatically backwashes every three days—no manual involvement needed. Check the pre-sediment filter periodically to ensure it’s capturing debris efficiently and not impeding flow. From there, just enjoy some of the cleanest, freshest water your home can have.
