It seems to have tinged my water with a bluish shade. I would like to know what is responsible for that.

I purchased this replacement after doing a search on line for this cartridge. The company that installed my tankless water heater had offered to change my filter for just under $200 dollars. I ordered my replacement and after calling about directions ( which did not come inside the box) I replaced it in about 10 min.
