The NuvoH2O® Manor Softener System uses a revolutionary water softening technology to lower the pH level of water based on the basic scientific process of chelation, in which the mineral ions causing hard water, principally calcium and magnesium, are bound to the chelating agent in NuvoH2O's FDA-approved, proprietary formulation. This keeps the minerals soluble and unable to cause hard water build up or other problems.
The NuvoH2O 20” Taste System uses a 10-micron carbon filter to improve taste and water quality by removing sediment and chemicals including 95% of Chlorine, 95% of VOC, inorganic chemicals, and turbidity. The resulting water is soft and healthy for all of your household uses, including drinking, bathing, washing, and lawn and plant watering.

I live in the CA Central Valley. I have a lot of scale build up clogging my faucets, shower heads, and dishwasher. I recently had to replace 3 leaking shut off valves in my home due to the erosion caused by the scale. I also noticed my toilet tank had debris in the tank so I decided to purchase the Nuvo H20 complete system (the filter will help prevent the debris). This comes with a whole home water filter and softener (see picture, I had it installed professionally by DeHart in my basement inline with the main water line). I know the cleaning action will take a couple months. So far I have only had it one week and the previously hard scale on my fixtures can already be easily scraped off. Before the unit was installed, I could not clean off the scale because it was hard like a rock. I had an electronic descaler unit inline and it did work; however, I am on my 2nd unit in 1.5 years and it just went out. I needed something reliable so I ditched the electronic descaler and went with the Nuvo. So far its good.
