I was hesitant on getting a shower filter for the longest time. Hard water seemed okay, at least I wasn't experiencing dry skin or had other issues with it, so I wasn't sure if I really needed one. Then I read some research about how much chemicals your skin absorbed, and how much of the minerals in hard water clogs your pores. It was a pain to clean all the mineral build up on the bath tub; it was a wonder how much of it actually stuck to my hair/skin. So I gave it a try and after about the 3rd shower, I noticed my hair was unusually shiny. I have never had shiny hair before, so I was shocked! And my skin felt refreshed and smooth, I didn't NEED to apply lotion on my face afterward. Now I truly believe in these shower filters, and I particularly like this one because I only need to switch it out once a year. It wasn't very difficult to install either, just made sure to wrap the pipes with the supplied tape and it was fine. The only real difference is that it took a bit longer to start up, but the water pressure was the same for me. Highly recommended.
Really loving this pitcher so far. It is pretty easy to use with the quick flip top and it takes about 2 minutes or so to filter. It is really sleek and pretty with the light blue and takes up minimal space in the fridge. Water tastes noticeably better. Before I used to taste the tap water's minerals and chlorine, but now it just tastes like nothing, which is what is should be! It's also really great that it will be able to last up to a year with its high-volume filter, making it a far better deal than other brands.
I'm more than happy to review this product! For so long I've been getting the 2.2 gal Arrowhead bottled water at the market, but in the last couple of years its harder and harder to find it in stock. I don't want to contribute to polluting the environment, so buying the smaller individual bottled water packs wasn't the answer, something I dreaded being forced to do. I happened to stumble upon this website, looking for a system to install, although I really hated the idea, but I certainly wasn't going with expensive delivery of bottles from the services around here either! I didn't know there were countertop units without some kind of service providing it and monthly fee, so this came as a pleasant surprise and a monumental relief while the grocery stores are being raided during the pandemic. I love that I am using my water out of the tap and that the filters last as long as a year! I was a little nervous about getting it going and following the directions, but it is pretty easy. The biggest thing is the relief, having some control over what kind of water I drink and an affordable solution. It is a beautiful, high quality unit and fits perfectly under my counter. Pureguys thanked me for my business, but I thank them much more for providing just what I needed! The relief is profound!
Installed this on my own. Easy to install. Have had it hooked up for 2 days so far and pleased with how it works.

Much easier than dumping salt, too! Simply change out your filter cartridges twice a year for soft, great tasting water!
Didn’t want a filter where I had to add minerals, and this one did the trick.
